Purpose and Function of 7th Chakra
The crown charka glows in all colours but  the predominant colour is Violet.  and is often represented as hovering just above the head. The outer blossom of this chakra has 960 petals. Inside you will find a second blossom with 12 petals, glowing in a white light interspersed with gold. This is where we once started our journey into life and to this place we will return. It is this place that we feel at home. The awareness given to us by this chakra goes far beyond the knowledge conveyed by the 3rd eye, for here we are no longer separated from the object of our perceptions. see  (chakra & Aura healing course)

SIGNS OF HARMONIOUS FUNCTIONING 7th CHAKRA
When this chakra begins to open you will experience more and more moments when the division between inner being and outer life recedes into the background. Your consciousness is completely calm and open, and you will experience your real self as being part of the omnipresent pure Being which contains all matter. 
As the development of this crown chakra increases, these moments will occur more frequently until they become permanent reality. When your self is ready for htis final step of enlightenment, it may happen quite suddenly. You may feel as if you have woken up from a long dream and that you are now finally beginning to live in reality. 

SIGNS OF BLOCKED OR CLOSED 7th CHAKRA
If this chakra is blocked we quite often feel separated from abundance and wholeness, and will not be completely free of fear. Unless you open yourself to spiritual truths during the years when the crown centre can develop, you may experience feelings of uncertainty and a lack of purpose during this life time. 

ACTIVATING THE CROWN CHAKRA
Time spent alone on the peak of a very high mountain is one of the best ways of opening up you seventh chakra. Here where you are far away from your earthly cares you can easier let go of the events of your personal life.
